To the parents, wow! Thank you for all the blessings you have given us. You give us the opportunity to work with your children, you bless us with items from our wish list and you pray for us. We thank the Lord for you. We look forward to working with you in making this a tremendous year for the students.
To the students, we had such a great week. I know Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Zemek already know most of you and I am looking forward to that privilege as well.
This blog is going to server many purposes. I would like to post the newsletter, include information about field trips, but mostly it will be an area where students will post blogs and comment on what we are learning.
The first student blog will be about Sign of the Beaver. Parents, be on the lookout in the next week or so for book reviews on this book. Students, if you are not the one blogging, I would like you to comment about your thoughts on the book. The post should be on here around Aug. 19th.
Soli Deo Gloria! Glory to God Alone!

Being in 5th grade this year is awesome because I have awesome teachers. What I enjoy most is actually having lockers and being able to change classes.

The book has alot more interesting things than the movie I think. I pictured the cabin and where he lived wayyyyy different i pictured it on flat ground and you had to walk on a trail to get to the riverand and the dog that Attean gave hm would be a hound with porcipine qills would be all over him and that he and Attean would look way different also. The part in the movie was when the babauy died that didn"t happen in the book though so I was kinda sad. Then Atten's sister was in the book and not in the movie.
ReplyDeleteTCPS is probably the best school in the entire world is the best thing I can ever dream of God has blessed us with this school and he has blessed us with many more.

God is awesome and he gave us the bible to read about a lot of the stories that he has been through. The bible is amazing with all the awesome stories in it like joseph and when his brother's full of envy sold him to some ishmealites or Noah and the that was a really good story when he put all the animals in the boat and there was a great flood it is just amazing what God can do to us.

(Psalms 24:17) Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. (Philippians 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (Isaiah 41:10) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
